Using this painting as a nexus (or an index) of information, placement transforms its inputs. The main shape, often referred to as 'the flag,' is an enlargement of a tracing. This tracing was done of a random metal piece that was on the floor of a welding shop. Here, that is transformed into a piece of significance, while the binary granular data serves as its 'scoreboard.'

The second of a series of three canvases - of equal size and each with a grid of pixels. This was an attempt to 'pictorialize' with painting, done with quite the tongue-in-cheek.
